Past, present,.... and future?
Here's some food for thought: take a good long look at your life. Remember how you were, how you thought, how you perceived the world around you... remember your relationship with God - let it all sink in. Now look around you; look at your suroundings, the pictures of your loved ones and the memories you share with them, the blessings that God has given you. Think about your relationship with God now, its something else, isn't it? I started out as a small-town farm boy. All I wanted was to go to college and to get a good job, and I honestly would have been happy to just punch in my card every Sunday at church. Now look at me! Now I'll always strive to have an active role in church, I now have a deeper understanding and relationship with God than I ever imagined I could have... and it continues to grow! If that wasn't enough, I now live and work in Northern Ireland in a third-story apartment with a balcony on the river - in short, a place I would never have imagined myself to be. Look at Daniel and his life, when you think about it, he started out life as a slave - a slave! And he ended up as a man of sature and standing, not only in God's eyes, but in men's as well. We know he had a house and a place at court, and I would bet he had money as well. All this because he believed in, and followed, God. It's truly amazing what God can do with you. So please: take a moment to stop and look at your life. I think in the end you'll be surprised at just how much God has changed you. Count your blessings.
God Bless.
God Bless.

We made it!
*sigh*...heh, Its almost unreal but were here! WERE HERE! We have made it (finaly) to Colraine, Northern Ireland. And God has blessed me from the first moment I got off the plain! Our cordinater was waiting and let me tell you, I don't think my own family could have given a warmer welcome. Oh, there was the small insadent of where I lost my lugage. But never fear its now safely back with me...and a small not, fresh clother are awsome.
I wish I could tell you everything about this place, but there would just be too much. So Ill just start with the church, it what every chrch should be. Small, but homey. Not many people, but as close as family. And welcome every brother and sister on Christ into there lives. The kids here are the best, each one is a character...espasaly David.
This Sunday was great, with the whole service revolving around us (Im I turning red yet?)! We then had a potluck (exelent food!) and enjoyed felloship with everyone. Then we got strait to work, with HBS (Holiday Bible School) startin Monday we went out and handed flyers to the local neighborhood, then came back and did a few more things to get ready. All in all, things here are going great and are amazing! I would tell you more...but I think Ill let the pics do all the talking. Ill talk to yall soon!

Planes away!
Well folks, I'm happy to say that we finally have.....Da, da da DAAAAAAAA a departure date! That's right, after the fiasco with the license, and the visa process, then puchasing tickets, we are now a-go to go! On the 30th I will take a plane from Lubbock to Houston and spend one day there. Then on the 2nd, The Team and I really start to fly! With time change and all that jazz we will technically arive on the 3rd, but hey, as long as we get there it's all good. I thank all of you for your support, prayers, and mostly love. Some of you know that this limbo and being tied to home with not much to do has been very stressful and bad for me. But I intend to put all that pent up energy to good, immediate use in Northern Ireland. Next time you hear from me.....it will be from there.

Here's the full story
Alright, here's the full story. In a attempt to keep everyone who wants to keep up with me happy and well informed I have created this blog. But I'll start off with the basics for anyone who may be new to who I am and what I'm doing. My name is Roy Angell and I am in the two year program AIM (Adventures In Missions) and in May will be going to Coleraine in Northern Ireland with a team of six. But to get there I still have to go through more "classes" in AIM, basically half a lifetime jam packed into a few months. I've already gone through half of the classtime and I've learned and changed so much, I can only imagine as to what's to come for me. So I make this for all of you who want to come on a Angell's Journey with me.

Howdy!
Hello everyone, if your reading this then that means that I've successfully (da da da daaaa) made a blog. Yay! Everyone cheer and run around in little circles. But really, this is for everyone who wants to keep up with me. This was made for anyone wanting to keep up with me in AIM. This is going to be a bit more personal then my newsletters, more curent info, and also something I plan to keep up after AIM, so anyone who wants to keep up with me can read this as well. So I hope you can put up with my bad spelling and enjoy all my writing. I'll be sure to put up more info later.
See yall later! =]
